After consecutive defeats against Hull City ( Hull City 3-0 Liverpool) and Turkish side Galatasaray ( Galatasaray 3-0 Liverpool), the Reds next face Norwegian side Valerenga.
Liverpool last played Valerenga in 2008, prevailing 4-1 in a pre-season friendly. The game will be played in the national Ullevaal Stadium at 6pm (UK time) on August 1.
Liverpool are expected to put out a strong team with the likes of new signings Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing all expected to feature, after the trio were rested against Galatasaray.
